Valentine’s Day and Independence Day are having a date night with eachother in this special edition Valentine’s Day America freedom hoodie. The inspiration behind this design came from our original America 250 design.

This July 4th red freedom zip hoodie combines patriotism with romanticism. While we are all passionate for our wives or husbands, we are reminded in this faith graphic design to be also for God and country. Yes, our country needs a little help, I agree.

Let’s talk design, color, and size shall we?

This vday graphic design idea required taking the original red, white, and blue design and converting it to have a Valentine’s Day aesthetic while maintaining the patriotic theme. We started with converting the front graphic to a heart shaped 13 colonial stars; simple rearrangement. 

Next, we added a pinkish color tone to both the front and back design. At this point, we began playing around with a couple of watercolor washes in Valentine’s day color. After application, it still seemed blah, generic. Okay, yes it looked good, but it still didn’t pop.

Before moving on we added an extra graphic to the back design. You’ll notice a heart with an arrow through it in the word God. The emphasis being a more faith-based emphasis on where our love is being directed.

While contemplating the watercolor wash look, the idea came to blend and merge a hot pink rose to both valentines day graphics. After some techinical tweeks within Photoshop, we arrived at the finished design; it was exactly what we were looking for. Blending a high-quality picture of a rose with the U.S. map and front graphic, we were able to get a good blend of color on top of the watercolor wash that would work on the Valentines Day red hoodie outfit selections.

The Valentines and Independence graphic design is applied to Gildan zip-up hoodies with hand pouches. These hoodie sweatshirts are made of cotton and polyester an extremely comfortable fabric blend. Ladies will find this design printed on white, red, maroon, and black colored hoodies. Sizes range from small to 5XL.
