Our America 250 graphic designs were created to honor the semi-quincentennial event of 2026. All are printed on apparel such as hoodies, sweatshirts, and t-shirts. At TrueLight, we have around 30 patriotic graphic designs to choose.

In this post, we will highlight the thirteen 1776 colonial graphic designs. Each has a great story beind them. They highlight pivotal moments in our nations history. Our goal was to bring these moments back to life through a design you could wear. 

By wearing these 1776 colonial designs, history will continue to be remembered well beyond the classroom. The elements in each piece of artwork was discovered and determined for use after much research. We had to ask questions like,

1. What was happening in the specific colony in 1776?

2. What main event is most remembered during this time? 

3. What type of fonts and colors so we use?

You get the point. 

In order to create America 250 graphic apparel, you really have to begin with the story of each design. Our main image is the Philadelphia design – note the nine names of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence.
